Lenovo Smartphone Sales have increased by 25% in Second Quarter

Lenovo is the Chinese Smartphone Manufacturer, Now company has announced that they had Sold 14 million Smartphones in the Second Quarter which ends on 30th September. Which Means brand registered a 25% increase in sales in comparison to the first quarter, which ended in June this year.

However, The Overall Lenovo Mobile division suffered a $156 million pre-tax loss during the second quarter, But Still there’s an improvement from the previous three month period. Margins were -7.7%, which was till 4.4 percentage points better than fiscal Q1 margins.

Yang Yuanqing, Chairman, and CEO, Lenovo said, “Market conditions remained challenging but we delivered solid results…our Mobile business had good quarter-to-quarter volume growth and margin improvement…We have also added several of the industry’s top minds into Lenovo, and are continuing to strengthen our leadership team. We remain confident in our vision, our strategy and our team’s ability to achieve new heights”.

Lenovo also says that Motorola Shipments are also increased by 40% since the launch Moto G4 and Moto Z series. Specially the Moto Z series crossed 1 million sales since its debut and company says they are looking to sell 3 million units in the first 12 months. The Moto Z Range is the Modular smartphone series which attracts the most. Lenovo is trying to expand its Moto Mods that’s the reason they has partnered with a crowdfunding website to help the developers raise money for their Moto Mods creations for Moto Z range.
