LG launches Q8- a miniature version of V20

LG recently launched its new phone Q8 which can be thought of as mini V20. This is practically a flagship device. The look of the phone from both front and back end will give you a feeling of V20.

The phone brings in Android 7.0 Nougat as the OS and Snapdragon 820 chipset as a powerhouse. There’s a metal body with IP67 waterproofing, Quad DAC, 4GB of RAM, 5.2” QHD panel with a secondary display 32GB internal storage. There’s a slot for microSD for memory expansion and a battery of 3000mah.

Now, let’s talk about the display, it comes with Quantum IPS being protected by Gorilla Glass 4 which is common for LG’s flagships. The secondary screen has a resolution similar to that of V20 i.e. of 160 x 1,040px, though the screen is smaller in size compared to V20.

The camera of the phone is something which is being most looked at on any device. The main features of the camera is support of OIS. It can shoot 4K 2160p video with the dual camera having a combination of a 13MP sensor (1/2.6”, 1.12µm, f/1.8) and wide-angle lens (135°/10mm, f/2.4) . On the front side there’s a 8MP sensor (1/4”, 1.12µm). The front camera has a wide lens capable of video recording of 1080p.

It is coming later this month on sale and currently, the price is still unknown.
