Xiaomi launched the much-anticipated Xiaomi 13 series smartphone in December 2022. The brand also unveiled the MIUI 14, based on Android 13, at the same event. The skin offers a new user interface and many interesting new features. Xiaomi has revealed the list of eligible smartphones which will receive the MIUI 14 update in the coming months. The Redmi Note 9 series, Poco M2 series, and a few other smartphones will soon receive the update.

According to Xiaomi, the following smartphones will receive the MIUI 14 update in the coming months:
The Redmi Note 9 series are eligible for the MIUI 14 update because the brand couldn’t roll out the MIUI 13 update properly. Since the Note 9 series has contributed a large percentage in sales, Xiaomi wants to make users happy. However, the MIUI 14 update will still be based on Android 12, not Android 13. The internal testing of the update has already begun for some of the above said smartphones. The MIUI 14 would be the final major update for the Redmi Note 9 series. It has received two major Android and three major MIUI updates to date.
