Moto G 3rd gen starts getting Android 6.0.1 update in India

Motorola has starts Rolling out Android 6.0.1 marshmallow update for Moto G 3rd gen (2015) variant. The Update includes Android monthly security patch and Unicode 8.0 emoji support.With this update the software variant is updated to v24.61.55 and it weighs 371.4MB.

Moto G (2015) variant gets the Android 6.0 marshmallow update earlier this year in January.
Moreover Moto X play Edition was also updated with Android 6.0.1. If you did not gets the OTA notification on Moto G 3rd gen yet, Do check it manually by going through the settings.
