Moto G40 Fusion & G60’s Android 12 update breaks ‘Multi-Volume’ function

Motorola is one of the best brands that provide a near-stock Android experience apart from Google. Moto has a wide variety of smartphones, from budget to flagship smartphones. It has been a few months since the brand began to push the Android 12 update to its smartphones. The update brought some issues to its Edge and G series smartphones. Recently, the brand pushed the Android 12 stable update to Moto G40 Fusion and Moto G60. The users of these smartphones also face some issues which were posted in Lenovo’s community.

The users claim that the sound of an app can’t be changed without changing the system volume. It was claimed by a couple of users of both smartphones. As you can see in the video, the system volume also gets reduced while reducing the volume of a specific app. This feature was working fine with Android 11 on both smartphones. Moto is yet to respond officially on the issue. We hope the brand will soon respond and push a bug fix update to both smartphones. We will update the article if the brand has pushed any bug fix updates.
