Moto G60, G40 Fusion launched in India with 120Hz display and Snapdragon 732G

Last month, Motorola uncovered Moto G30 and Moto G10, followed by the Moto G100. Now the Lenovo-owned firm is shedding light on the new set of smartphones in India, Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion. The duo powers Snapdragon 732G along with a strong battery and fast charging support and is equipped with a 120Hz display. Let’s take these new smartphones into detail.

Moto G60 and G40 Fusion Specifications

The new smartphones debuted together, features some similar design and attributes but they do differ in some aspects.

Both Moto G60 and G40 Fusion support a 6.8-inch Max Vision IPS display with a water repellent design. They support 1080 x 2460 pixels FHD+ resolution, HDR10, 120Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole located at the top center.

The duo powers Android 11 OS out of the box paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. They power an octa-core processor based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G along with Adreno 618 GPU. Moto G60 and G40 Fusion pack a 6,000 mAh battery with 20W TurboCharging and Quick Charge 4.0 over a USB Type-C charger.

In terms of camera, the Moto G60 carries a triple camera module at back consisting of a 108MP Samsung HM2 primary, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP sensor to measure depth. The ultrawide snapper indulges FOV which also acts as a macro camera. The front punch-hole houses a 32MP shooter for selfies with LED flash.

Talking about the Moto G40 Fusion, the device also features tri-lens at the back comprising of a 64MP wide, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the other side, it carries a single 16MP main camera.

Concerning connectivity, the phones provide dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Along with these, they are equipped with rear-mounted fingerprints, accelerometers, and proximity sensors.

Availability and Worth

The Moto G60 will be available in two color variants of Dynamic Grey and Frosted Champagne from 27 April, 12 PM IST. The smartphone can be purchased from Flipkart for Rs 17,999. The ICICI cardholders can get an instant discount of Rs 1,500.

The Moto G40 Fusion can be purchased from 1 May, 12 PM IST in a single color option of Dynamic Grey. The phone is tagged with Rs 13,999 for its 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM + 128 GB edition cost Rs 15,999. ICICI bank card owners can get an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on both variants.
