OnePlus Nord receives OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 6 update

While other OEMs are preparing their next-gen skin that will support the Android 12 operating system. OnePlus is still testing OxygenOS 11 for its previous flagships. Following its reframed timeline, OnePlus Nord is now receiving the sixth open beta for the latest stable skin.

Needless to say, the sixth OxygenOS beta will eliminate the annoying bugs and deal with several issues present in the fifth beta. Thus, refining the overall experience of the device. The package is rolling out in India, Europe, and North American regions through the ROM Version Nord_R_OBT_O6.​

According to the changelog, the security patch of OnePlus Nord will be upgraded to August 2021. The changes in the system will improve its stability for a seamless experience. Moreover, there are a couple of new additions to the ambient display. This includes the new screenshot feature and Bitmoji ambient display. Refer to the changelog below for precise information.

The OnePlus Nord users who are currently in the fifth beta will receive the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 6 update as an OTA. However, if you are presently on the stable version, you can download the full OTA. To do this, head to Settings > System > System Update > “Local Update“ and flash the update from the internal storage. After downloading, put the package in the root directory of the device’s internal storage.
