Rumored Moto G Benchmarked, Specs Revealed

Motorola’s mid-ranger Moto G came out in November and has fared very well. That could be the reason that the Moto G already has a successor lined up and ready for release. The successor to Moto G is rumored to be named the Moto G2 and all we had about the device were a couple of pictures of the phone’s cases but that has now changed, thanks to GFX Benchamrks.

A device from Motorola with the model number XT1063 which is rumored to be the Moto G2 has been benchmarked and we now have the device’s specs.

The rumored Moto G2 comes with a 5″ 720p display screen along with an 8 MP rear snapper and a 2 MP camera unit on the front. Under the hood lies a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset alongwith a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz and 1 GB of RAM. You also have 8 GB available as the internal storage memory.

Major upgradations from the Moto G include the increase in screen size from 4.5″ to 5″ on the Moto G2. Both the cameras have also received a bump from 5 MP and 1.3 MP to 8 MP and 2 MP.
