Samsung Galaxy A52 gets April 2021 Android Security patch update

Samsung with its frequent update policies has become one of the best smartphone brands or even, the king in terms of software updates. Like last month, the company already started sending a new monthly security patch before the old month ends. The Korean giant is effectively upgrading its devices with April 2021 Android security patch. After Galaxy S21 and Note 10 Series, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and Galaxy S20 FE, Samsung Galaxy A52 is the next to bag the new package.

The fresh security level is live for the 4G variant of the Samsung Galaxy A52. The build can be identified by the firmware version A525FXXU1AUC5 and is available for model number SM-A525F in the European continent. Here’s the list of countries where the software is approaching.

  • Austria
  • Croatia
  • Czech Republic
  • France
  • Italy
  • Portugal
  • Poland
  • Romania
  • Serbia
  • Slovakia
  • Slovenia

Samsung has not detailed the security patch yet. However, along with enhanced security, it is expected to resolve some user-reported bug fixes and bring improvements in system performance. Like every regular security patch, this too will not load any major changes or new features in favor of user experience.

Also, as mentioned, the update is available for 4G variants and it might be arriving for 5G users anytime soon. The build is being rolled out in batches so the Galaxy A52 4G owners may have to wait a while. Alternatively, the update can always be tracked via the device’s Settings -> Software updates -> check for the updates, click Download and install if the package pops up.
