Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is the first smartphone to receive MIUI 12.5 stable update

Xiaomi introduced MIUI 12.5 last year at Mi 11 China launch event in late 2020. However, the trials were only limited to the Chinese market. Later, the company released the list of devices eligible to receive the firmware. Since then, Xiaomi is frequently sending beta builds to these devices in China. Finally, after three months, the company has released the stable version of MIUI 12.5 and the first smartphone to bag the package is Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra.

Now that the stable MIUI 12.5 update is live for the Mi 10 Ultra in China, it is expected to soon arrive in other regions as well. Also, this is to be noticed that the build is currently in the Stable Beta phase so it may carry some issues regarding system stability and user experience. Accordingly, the software will be pushed to a limited number of users at first, then the border rollout will follow soon if the built does not lag.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra

Xiaomi revealed Mi 10 Ultra in August 2020 as its 10th-anniversary special smartphone. The phone features a 6.67-inch OLED, 1B colors display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 shield. It packs Android 10, MIUI 12 out of the box paired with up to 16 GB RAM and 512GB of storage. The device is powered by Snapdragon 865 (7 nm+) chipset and Adreno 650 GPU. It houses a rear quad-camera module indulging a 48MP primary, 48MP periscope telephoto, 12MP telephoto, and a 20MP ultrawide lens. At the front, the smartphone has a single 20MP shooter.
