After the Galaxy S21 and Note 10 Series, Samsung has now started cultivating the April 2021 Security Patch update to the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy S20 FE users. The update bears the firmware version F916BXXU1DUCE for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the build version G780FXXS2CUC8 for the Galaxy S20 FE 4G variant. However, the update will also be released shortly for the 5G variant too.

As it is a monthly security update, it doesn’t include any significant changes apart from the bug fixes, improvements for apps & system performance, optimizations, etc. The update for Galaxy Z Fold 2 brings improvements for the camera for better ISO performance in low-light mode.

]Samsung is reportedly rolling out the updates in a staggered way for verification. So users need to be patient and trust a few days to get the update. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 and S20 FE users will be able to see the notification after the update reaches their device. Instead of waiting, you can also check the update manually by heading to Settings>Software updates and check for the updates.
