Samsung Galaxy A70 gets July 2020 Security Patch update

The Korean giant – Samsung is subsequently providing the software and Security Patch updates for all its smartphones. The company started providing the July Security Patch update in the month of June itself for many of its smartphones. Now, Samsung just released the latest Security Patch update for Galaxy A70. Moving to the update, it arrives as the A705YNDXU5BTF1 Firmware version. As of now, the update is spinning out only to Australian users.

What’s new?

Similar to all other smartphones, there’s no official release note/changelog. So, the update generally features the latest Security Patch, bug fixes to improve the device performance and fixes for loopholes. In case, if this update adds any new features to the device, you will be experiencing them while using it.

Like all other updates, it is also rolling out in a Phased manner. So, it might take a few days to hit each and every unit. However, you can check the status of the update manually by heading to the Software updates menu from Settings.

Just a couple of days back, Samsung Galaxy A50, Z Flip, S20, and many more devices in several regions have tasted a similar update.

Galaxy A70 Specifications

The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protected device sports a 6.7-inch display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It powers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset coupled with Octa-core and Adreno 612 GPU. The smartphone features a triple rear camera and a 32-MP single front camera. It packs with 6/8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
