Samsung Galaxy Note 9 starts receiving October Security Patch

Samsung finally starts rolling out Android Security Patch for the month of October on its Galaxy Note 9. Recently, the other flagship device Galaxy S9, S9+, and Galaxy S8 gets the Latest security patch already. The update very small in size and comes with the firmware version N960FXXS2ARJ4.

The update weighs about 67.5MB in size. It includes the October Security Patch along with some improvements in the performance of the device. October security PAtch for Galaxy Note 9 includes the fixes for 2 Android OS critical vulnerabilities. However, Samsung has also added corrections for 11 vulnerabilities found in its own software.

The update is rolling out over the air. So it might take some time to reach each and everyone. If you want to check it manually you can do that by going through the settings >> about phone>> software updates. When you get the update, before start installing the update do charge your phone up to at least 50%.
