Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact price details leaked just before official launch

Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact first came into news in May this year when the specs of the alleged devices were leaked online. Since then we came across several leaks and rumors about the upcoming devices. Both the devices are expected to be unveiled at IFA 2017 starting from September 1, 2017. In a recent leak, Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact smartphones prices have been leaked just before its official launch. The pricing details have been revealed by well-known tipster Roland Quandt on Twitter.

As per Quandt’s tweet, Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact will carry a price tag of 599 GBP and 499 GBP respectively. The pricing comes to approximately Rs 49,000 for Xperia XZ1 and Rs 41,000 for Xperia XZ1 Compact. Along with the pricing details, the tweet also lists two Amazon UK links of XZ1 Black and XZ1 Pink (which are yet to be uploaded). It clearly indicates that the Xperia XZ1 will be launched in Black and Pink color variants.

According to previous leaks, Xperia XZ1 will sport a 5.1-inch full HD display and will be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC with Adreno 540 GPU. The handset packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In the camera segment, the smartphone features a 19MP primary camera with LED flash and a 13MP front-facing camera. The smartphone may run Android 7.1.1 Nougat or Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact will be a trimmed down version of Xperia XZ1. It is expected to feature a 4.6-inch HD screen and packs the same processor and RAM as Xperia XZ1. The device, however, comes with a lower resolution 8MP camera at the front and rear side. Just like Xperia XZ1, the compact version may also run Android 7.1.1 Nougat or Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

Alongside both devices, the company is expected to launch Xperia X1 as a mid-range device featuring a 5-inch HD display, powered by Snapdragon 660 processor and comes with 2,800mAh battery.
