Verizon Starts rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo on Galaxy Tab S3

Verizon starts rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo Update to its Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. The update comes with the software version of R16NW.T827VVRU1BRD4. Galaxy Tab S3 is the flagship device of Samsung from last year and it is expected to get Android P also.

The update weighs around 1.2 GB in size. It packs with all the goodies of Android Oreo i.e. Picture in Picture mode, auto fill, notification channels, new revamped settings app, new notification center and several others. Along with all these features, the update is also packs with Android security patch for the month of April 2018.

As this is an OTA update it will take some time to reach each and every user. However, you can also check the update manually by going through the settings>>about phone>> software updates.

Company has stated that before download and installing the update. Do switch on your WiFi network as it is a large update. Android do charge your phone’s battery at least up to 50 %.
