Vivo X30 Pro gets Funtouch OS 10 stable update in China

Vivo launched the X30 Pro in December 2019 as their first 5G enabled smartphone in the Chinese market. Vivo X30 Pro came preloaded with Funtouch OS 10.0 on top of Android 9.0 Pie and has now started receiving a new update based on Android 10.  It is to note that Vivo announced beta update recruitment last month for a bunch of devices that included X30 Pro. There is no official statement from Vivo rolling out this update, however, a user has posted about the update on the Chinese microblogging website, Weibo. The user posted the below screenshot stating “The first X30 Pro to use Exynos 980 finally got Android 10…”

The update changelog is in Chinese and we were unable to translate what this new update brings to Vivo X30 Pro users. However, this seems to be a major update bringing in several new features and improvements to the device. Since the beta update was live for quite some time, we expect this stable update to be free from any bugs or issues, whatsoever.

With this update, you will certainly see performance improvement and a variety of new features based on Android 10. If you’re not based in China and still waiting for the update, you need to be patient as there is no official confirmation yet. We remain hopeful that the global users will soon be able to get this update on their Vivo X30 Pro.
