Vivo Y22 with Helio G85 goes official in Indonesia for Rp 2,399,000

Vivo Y22 is built around a 6.55-inch LCD screen with a center-aligned waterdrop notch cutout. The panel offers an HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and is IPX4/X5 rated, making it dust and splash-resistant. Also, it is has an attractive rear shell resistant to fingerprint marks and scratches. The device measures 164.3 x 76.1 x 8.38mm and weighs about 180 grams.

Under the hood, an octa-core processor based on MediaTek Helio G85 powers the device. The chipset is paired with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In addition, it supports up to 2 GB of extended RAM and a MicroSD card slot as well. For software, the device runs Android 11 out of the box along with a layer of FuntouchOS 12 on top.

In the optics department, the Vivo Y22 carries a dual camera setup at the back alongside an LED flash. The module consists of a 50MP primary lens and a 2MP macro unit. At the front, there’s an 8MP snapper to take series and video calls. The camera comes with night mode, portrait mode, bokeh, macro, panorama, time-lapse, and eye autofocus support.

Moreover, the company ships the device with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W of charging. The other notable features include  4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, face unlock, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security.

The Vivo Y22 costs Rp 2,399,000 in Indonesia for its base 4GB/ 64 GB model. The phone will be soon available to buy in Starlit Blue, Summer Cyan, and Metaverse Green color options.
