OnePlus Nord CE Lite 2 gets OxygenOS 12 A.12 update with several new optimizations

OnePlus is sending a new software update for the OnePlus Nord CE Lite 2 in India. The new firmware version OxygenOS 12 A.12 consists of various optimizations and it brings the August 2022 Security Patch. It is an incremental rollout and is currently rolling out in India only.

OxygenOS 12 A.12 (CPH2381_11.A.12) fixes the lag issue and optimizes the overall system stability. It also fixes the issue of failing to set wallpapers. Apart from strengthening the system security with the August 2022 security patch, it also improves the WiFi connectivity. However, here’s the official changelog:

Integrates the August 2022 Android security patch to enhance system security.

Communication

You can now switch between Wi-Fi networks more easily and smoothly. Improves communication stability.

It is an incremental rollout and may take some time to be made available across each unit. It will first roll out to a small number of units, and upon successful verification of the update, a broader rollout will take place.
