Xiaomi Launches Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Lite 5G Smartphones and Mi Band 6

The Chinese giant – Xiaomi has launched the brand new Mi 11 Series in its home country (China). The lineup includes Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Lite 5G smartphones. In-availability, the Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Pro smartphones are already available for pre-order, and the first sale will start from April 2. Coming to the Mi 11 Lite, it is expected to hit all the markets later this month.

Heading to the price, the Mi 11 Ultra carries a price tag of CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 66,400) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM, 12GB + 256GB storage variant is priced around CNY 6,499 (roughly Rs. 72,000), and last but not least, the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model is priced around CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 77,500). In availability, the phone will be available in Black and White colour variants.

Coming to the Mi 11 Pro price, the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM model costs around CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 55,400) and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced around CNY 5,299 (roughly Rs. 58,700). Lastly, the 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM carries a price tag of CNY 5,699 (roughly Rs. 63,100). The smartphone is available in three colour variants, i.e. Black, Green, and White.

Last but not least, the Mi 11 Lite 5G comes with a starting price of CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 25,500) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant. Whereas the another variant – 8GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 28,800). The phone is available for purchase in Citrus Yellow, Mint Green, and Truffle Black colour options.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra specifications

Mi 11 Ultra flaunts a 6.81-inch 2K WQHD+ (3200 × 1440 pixels) E4 AMOLED display coupled with a 551ppi pixel density, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Moreover, the phone is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Interestingly, the phone also features a 1.1-inch (126×294 pixels) AMOLED secondary touch display on the rear side which comes with support for 450 nits of brightness and always-on mode.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with an Octa-core processor and Adreno 660 GPU. As discussed earlier, the phone comes in 8/12GB RAM and 256/512GB of internal storage. On the top, the Mi 11 Ultra runs the latest Android 11 based MIUI 12 out of the box. Moreover, the device is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 67W wired and wireless fast charging support.

In-camera depart, it fuels a triple rear camera inside a rectangular module that compromises 50-MP Samsung GN2 primary wide-angle lens, 48-MP ultra-wide-angle and tele-macro cameras. Furthermore, all three cameras support 8K video recording. At the front, the Mi 11 Ultra equips a 20-MP camera (f/2.2) for selfies and video calling.

The connectivity options on the board include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G, 4G VoLTE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, etc. There’s also an in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone measures 164.3×74.6X8.8mm and weighs about 225 grams.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro specifications

Mi 11 Pro compromises the exact specifications of the Mi 11 Pro except for the secondary display, Chipset, battery, and camera. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC Chipset powers the device. It is available in 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB internal storage options. The phone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery, including support for the 67W wired and wireless fast charging.

Coming to the central part – the camera, it hosts a 50MP Primary camera (f/1.95 lens), 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and lastly, an 8MP tele-macro sensor as the tertiary camera. On the front side, the phone features a 20MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G specifications

Unfortunately, Xiaomi has provided the Android 10 based MIUI 12 Skin for the Mi 11 Lite 5G. The device houses a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display paired with a 90Hz refresh rate and protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G SoC Chipset, paired with Adreno 642 GPU under the hood. It comes in 8GB RAM and 128/256GB internal storage, and furthermore, it can be expandable up to 512GB with a microSD card.

There’s a triple rear camera that assembles with a 64-MP primary camera, 8-MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-MP macro camera. Mi 11 Lite 5G appears with a 4,250 mAh battery, including support for 33W fast charging. The smartphone measures 160.53 x 75.72 x 6.81 mm dimensions and weighs 159 grams.

Mi Band 6 Specifications

Apart from the Mi 11 Series, Xiami has also introduced the Mi Band 6, sporting a big 1.56-inch (152 x 486 pixels) AMOLED touchscreen display with support for 326 PPI pixel density, 450 nits of peak brightness, and waterproof up to 50 metres. Similar to the Red Magic watch and Realme watch, it also incorporates 30 sports models, heart-rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SPO2), 24/7 blood pressure, etc. The 125 mAh battery backed device can run at a standby time of up to 14 days, and interestingly, it takes two hours to charge completely.

Pricing and Availability

The Mi Band 6 is priced at CNY 229 (roughly Rs. 2,500) for the vanilla variant. Whereas the NFC supported special variant carries a price of CNY 279 (roughly Rs. 3,000. The band 6 is available for purchase in Brown, Green, Orange, Silver, White, Black, Blue, and yellow colour options. The first sale is going to start from April 2.
