Comparison: iPhone SE Vs Galaxy S7 Mini

As we all know, yesterday, Apple announced its new iPhone better known as iPhone SE. It is a smaller variant of iPhone 6 but at smaller size i.e 4 inches.

Well, on the other hand we are placing Galaxy S7 Mini which is upcoming device from Samsung. It is smaller variant of Samsung’s flagship, Galaxy S7. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S7 Mini in some upcoming months.

Let’s start with

Display and Design:

Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to come with 4.6 inch display 720p display. On the other hand Apple is packed with 4 inch display. Other specs of the Galaxy S7 Mini is not known while Apple iPhone SE is having resolution of 1136*640.

Hardware and Processor:

S7 will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset or Samsung’s Exynos 8890 chip. Meanwhile, the iPhone SE has an impressive A9 processor. According to Forbes, the Snapdragon and Exynos are quad-core design. Snapdragon has a 2.2 gigahertz clock speed. Apple’s A9 runs at 1.85 Ghz. However, Forbes reported that the differences between the two chips are essentially minor.

Camera:

The iPhone is famous for having a great camera, but in the last year Android devices have really caught up. The iPhone SE has a 12MP shooter, the same size as the Galaxy S7 Mini’s camera. We’re sure photos from the iPhone SE will look great, but the Galaxy S7 is also expected to have a better camera.

Battery and other:

The battery is a measly 1642 mAh, RAM is only 1GB, and they are still selling a 16GB model. So we expect some less retention of battery juice as compared to Galaxy S7 Mini. So we think Galaxy S7 Mini will retain battery for much more time.

iPhone SE is priced at $399 for starting model and we expect the Galaxy S7 Mini at similar price but its higher variant.
