Facebook Home Bags 500,000 Downloads In 5 Days

Facebook Home, a Facebook native launcher for Android launched 5 Days ago by Facebook. In just 5 days Home has gained 500,000 downloads despite negative feedback. This figure has flipped in ‘Installs’ section on the Play Store   where it entered into ‘500,000 – 1,000,000’ series.

Its developed in order to ease out the process for users to update their status and view the newsfeed directly from the lock screen and text friends without any interruption.

Well, coming again onto half a million downloads which are pretty ok for Facebook like network. It didn’t gained that applause about which Facebook was thing of — these are many loopholes in the app which disallows its users to browse their phone content or apps easily.

Other reason why Facebook Home hasn’t bursted as bestseller is its limited availability to devices like HTC One, One+, Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 and Note 2. Recently Facebook has launched the app for global availability. Chat heads are already available via FB Messenger App.

If haven’t tried it yet you can download the Home app unofficially from here.
