HTCSense.com To Reset Its Services, All User Data To Be Deleted By April 30th

htcsense.com to reset its services, all user data to be deleted by april 30th

The HTCsense.com services let HTC phone users back up contacts, messages, call history and geotagged photos in the cloud. HTC have warned users that HTCSense.com was undergoing some pretty big changes, and part of these changes is a major upgrade, which will put all precious services in shut down mode, letting users know that they have until April 30th to download all their user data, or be faced with losing it forever, as they transition to an all new cloud service for their customers.

Why the sudden change and removal of a website they pushed as competition to Google’s cloud services for Android, or Apple’s MobileMe service? If you need some backup or phone location services in the mean time, though, HTC recommends you hit up the Google Play Store to search for an app that suits your needs. We’ll keep you posted as to what HTC is up to as we hear more.
