A year after exiting the Indian market, the Taiwanese giant has officially re-entered the market along with the partnership with Lava. HTC introduced HTC Wildfire X with Helio P22 SoC and coupled with 3/4 GB RAM and 32/128 GB internal storage. It features a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a screen-to-body ratio of 88.8%. It will retail at the starting price of Rs 10999 ($155) for the 3/32 GB Internal storage variants. The users will get a 1-year standard warranty with 6 months of accidental damage protection with free pick up and drop service.
HTC Wildfire X carries a triple rear camera module consisting of a 12-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 5 MP depth sensor. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel selfie camera to support face unlock and other supportive features. A 3300 mAh battery is embedded in the device. There’s a 3D OPVD mirror finish on the rear side to beautify the fingerprint scanner and the triple camera setup.
It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with some bundled inbuilt apps. HTC has added a new security tool “MyBuddy” which helps to alarm the family and friends by triggering a loud alarm and sending your live location. It even transmits audio and video of the surroundings with the family members in real-time. The user can also find the misplaced phone using “MyBuddy” feature.
