“Mobile Meter” May Reward Users for Sharing Mobile Usage Stats

Everyone knows that Google keeps a track on our web usage and pattern in order to deliver us ads, and web based improved services. Also Google services track our location and other data so as to give us better search results too.

Now according to a tip received by Engadget guys, Google is looking further to use our mobile data through a special program. The new program goes by the name “Mobile Meter”, and would use a special Android/iOS app that monitors usage stats such as what kind of apps are we using and what kind of sites do we browse.

If this comes int play, infact the data would be fetched back to the Google Servers to make a database too. Google has not yet confirmed neither denied the existence of such kind of a program. But how about getting a reward from Google for sharing your web usage stats?
