A few months back Nokia has announced its AndroidOne Smartphone Nokia 7 Plus for the Indian market. The device was having some issues with the VoLte compatibility which as declared are to be fixed through an update. As promised the Nokia 7 Plus in India has received a new updated which brings VoLte fix and much more to the smartphone. Before this update has arrived the device only supports 4G VoLte through one SIM-card whereas on the other it was having support for 3G connectivity. This latest update is arriving with a version number V2.22A. The changelog of the update doesn’t reveal much about the update, it just says UI(User Interface) enhancements and improved system stability. As promised by HMD’s Chief Product Officer(Juho Sarvikas) the device is getting support for 4G VoLte through this new update.
The device was also lacking the much needed Face Unlock feature and sadly even after this update nothing changes. The users are waiting for the update that will roll out Face Recognition to the handset. We can expect this specific feature to arrive in the next update, however, no comments have been made regarding it by the brand yet. The update arriving is not that big in size, it nearly weighs around 450MB’s so we will suggest you using an active Wi-Fi or a cellular connection. Make sure that your device should have a minimum charge of around 50% otherwise you might end up in a chaos.
