Nothing Phone (1) gets Jio 5G support with Nothing OS 1.1.5 update

Nothing is rolling out a new update for the Nothing Phone (1) with support for the Jio 5G connectivity in India. Nothing Phone OS 1.1.5 update is now available for the device and it weighs around 22MB in Size. It is a minor update without any other issue fixes or stability improvements.

Just a few weeks ago Nothing rolled Nothing OS 1.1.4 update carrying camera-specific features.

The users should be in the 5G network area, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata, in order to enjoy the Jio 5G network on Nothing smartphones.

For your information, the Jio 5G network is currently available for beta users in India’s metropolitan cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. It will be made public by Diwali this year.

The users can check for the NothingOS 1.1.5 update by heading to the device Settings > System> System update and checking for new updates. 

OnePlus is also pushing a similar update to its users in India including OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 8. Similarly, compatible Realme devices also received 5G compatibility via recent firmware updates in India.
