Samsung is Now updating its 2015 flagship phones, but older and lower-end models to the Android Marshmallow. Today again Samsung started rolling out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow to Galaxy Tab A 9.7 build number to “T550XXU1BPE1” in France.
The Update will include all the basic features of Android Marshmallow like Marshmallow, better battery life thanks to Doze and better control over app permissions. Google Now on Tap should be on offer as well.

The Update is available through Samsung Smart Switch on PCs and it will make a way to users over the air(OTA). So check it manually by going through Settings » About device » Software update. Right now there is no info about the update in other regions of Globe.
