Take a good look at the Nokia 8 design with dual cameras

As we start the second half of 2017, talk of new Nokia flagships starts getting stronger. Nokia has promised at least one flagship this year. Looking at the circulating rumors on the Internet, it is clear that there might be 2 flagships. The Nokia 9, and the Nokia 8. But the myriad model numbers popping up on benchmarks haven’t made work easy for tipsters.

Today, we have a very clear look at the Nokia 8, courtesy of a render. Now the render only reveals the front and the back of the device. If these images really depict the upcoming flagship, the device isn’t anything near to what Nokia fans have been fantasizing. There are no curved edges, no bezel less display. Well sort of. It does have an edge-to-edge display. More importantly, it has a Carl Zeiss branded camera setup. And Of course the age old famous Nokia branding.

Apart from that, we’ll have to gather bits and pieces from other sources to piece together the spec sheet for now. Henceforth, the Nokia 8 will most likely come with the Snapdragon 835, at least 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. It won’t be following the big screen trend this year and keep a 5.3-inch QHD screen. And Android 7.1.1 Nougat is also very likely to be preloaded. The dual cameras will bear 13 MP of resolution each.

Talk around the Nokia town is that it will be unveiled on July 31. For more recent leaks on the Nokia 9 flagship jump on to this column here.
