Google has recently announced fresh flavor of the Android operating system and it is the Android P. Here “P” stands for? Yes, we don’t know what P stands for because Google has not yet disclosed the entire name of it. A few weeks back Google has released the early developer preview of Android P for some selected devices, there we came to know about a ton of new features which Android P is comprised of. It is obvious that all Android devices will not gonna get this latest flavor but some fortunate ones will surely be getting it.
Firstly let’s discuss some well-liked features of the Android P.
Notch Support: The latest Android P comes with Notch support. Apple has first presented their device with a Notch and since then other brands are following it blindly. Due to increasing popularity of notch, Google has finally brought the support for the notch in the Android ecosystem.
New Screenshot option: Fresh Android P delivers a new screenshot option. In normal, Android devices offer screenshot option by long pressing power+vol down button but now one can take a screenshot by holding the power button and an option termed as screenshot will appear.
New Volume information and improved notifications: Volume info now occupies less space and is been displayed in the left section on the display panel. Notifications are now more refined and can carry more data.
Revamped settings menu: Android P offers a more colorful settings menu which somewhat looks inspired from the custom UI offered by Xiaomi, Huawei.

Android P offers a lot of new features of which we are not aware yet, using a developer preview version we can give a rough overview because that build is still in the development phase at present. Xiaomi has always been condemned because of their delayed updates but still, we are expecting the high-end devices from their house to get the Android P update. These devices are expected to receive the Android P update in the form of forthcoming MIUI version. It is possible that MIUI will omit some of the features as it an entirely customized skin. This list is not disclosed by Xiaomi officially, the above-listed devices are expected to receive the Android P update. For official information, we have to wait as still a number of devices from Xiaomi are running on the outdated Android Nougat which is a very disgraceful fact.
