Xiaomi launches Mi Band 7 globally for €59.99

A couple of weeks back, Xiaomi launched the Mi Band 7 in China. It came with many improvements over its predecessor. The company has now launched the device globally. As of now, the band is available in multiple countries in Western Europe. However, the NFC variant is still exclusive to China. Also, the tech giant has not yet unveiled the device in markets like India and UK. Although the device has already received BIS certification, indicating that the Indian launch is approaching. As we reported earlier, the device’s pricing is between €50 – 60.

Mi Band 7 Pricing & Specifications!

Even though it was launched with a price tag of €59.99, it can be bought at a discount of €10 in the early bid offer. Xiaomi has made the device available in ten different color options. These color options are Black, White, Light Blue, Cream, Dark Green, Orange, Camouflage Blue, Camouflage Green, Fluorescent Orange, and Fluorescent Yellow. 

The Mi Band 7 gets a more prominent 1.62-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 490×192 pixels. It brings support for Always-on Display (AOD) and a brightness of 500 nits. underneath, the device gets a new chipset, leading to better animations and user experience.

Further, the smart band also features improved blood oxygen tracking (Sp02). Interestingly, the device is one of the lightest smart bands and weighs around 13.5 grams. The band also offers an optical heart rate sensor, vibration motor, waterproofing up to 50 meters & supports sleep tracking.

Xiaomi claims a standard battery life of 15 days. Moreover, the brand has added support for more than 100 watch faces and 120 sports modes. Although, the watch still misses an in-built GPS sensor. We hope Xiaomi will include a GPS sensor in the next generation “Mi Band’.
