Acer is going to join the Virtual Reality industry and going to launch the products in the first half of the 2016. According to the CEO Jason Chen company is also planning to showcase of its development at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016.
Chen pointed out that VR is a new technology and, like wearable devices, will require some time before becoming mature. The market also to integrate with other software and hardware technologies. Acer is developing VR products with its existing technologies and hopes the product line will open up new business opportunities.
Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Sony, HTC, LG and even Facebook is developing their virtual reality technologies and headsets. Some companies are already launched there Products in market.As Google comes up with Google CardBoard, Samsung comes up with Gear VR even LG has also comes up with their VR Headset.
