Google is rolling out Android 13 QPR1 Beta 2 for eligible Pixel smartphones. To recall, the first beta was released last month. After one more beta update, we can see a stable release by the end of this year. In the meantime, let’s check out what the second beta brings.
For the unaware, the Quarterly Platform Release (QPR) intends to resolve different bugs and small issues that come packed the OS. In fact, Google says these “builds are suitable for general use.” The Android 13 QPR1 Beta 2 is available for eligible Pixel smartphones. This includes Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a. The beta builds for all devices are bundled with the firmware version T1B2.220916.004.
However, this time, the tech giant did not enlist the “top resolved issues.” Although it does upgrades the security maintenance to October 2022. Also, it resolves bugs and brings optimizations to improve system performance and stability. In addition, we do have some changes found in the Android 13 QPR1 Beta 2.
Apart from the above-mentioned changes, there are more traits to explore in QPR1 Beta 2. The existing developers can flash the new build on their respective Pixel smartphones. Lastly, they can detail issues and file bugs on the Android Beta Feedback app.
