Apple and HTC today reached at point and signed 10 year licensing which will csettles all of the lawsuits between the companies around the world. Yesterday both companies CEOs stressed the desire to continue innovating for the future. Tim Cook have issued brief words for the official joint statement:

“HTC is pleased to have resolved its dispute with Apple, so HTC can focus on innovation instead of litigation,” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC.

“We are glad to have reached a settlement with HTC,” said Tim Cook, CEO of Apple. “We will continue to stay laser focused on product innovation.

Additionally, Patent deal comes after HTC suffered several legal setbacks, such as a decision by the U.S. International Trade Commission that said Apple’s iPhone and iPad mobile devices had not infringed HTC’s patents.

Similarly Nokia has also signed off similar deal last year with Apple.
