Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus Optus users here is a good news for you. I know you guys have been waiting for the latest Android Nougat update since long. Though Samsung had announced that the update will be available soon, the Nougat update was delayed due to some technical issues.
Optus users will be getting the update by the end of this month. So, yes Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus users will be able to enjoy the new update. Though Optus is said to release the update this month its been quite late. US carriers have already sent the update to both Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus like 3 months back.
The new update will bring a few new features and improve the user interface. Apart from these new changes, users can now reply quickly from the notification shade. Improved battery life, new interface are the added incentives. Users will also be able to enjoy extra features like Doze mode on the go, Multi language mode, Notification Bunding etc.

Optus Australia has no info on a inpending update not is there any comment on a resaon
as to why it is being delayed.

Anyone know if I change providers (example – Amasym) can I do the update or should I continue to wait for the Optus roll out.
