Galaxy S9 Exynos 9810 version outperforms the Snapdragon 845 counterpart in benchmarks

We all know that Samsung is all set to unveil their next big thing which is Galaxy S9 duo on February 25. And also we know what these devices will pack as well as how good they will look. But, still leaks keep on surfacing and the latest one reveals that the Galaxy S9 Exynos 9810 version outperforms the Snapdragon 845 counterpart in benchmarks.

As you can see from the benchmarks above, Samsung’s in-house Exynos 9810 clearly beats the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 in both single core and multi core tests. But, still both are behind Apple’s A11 Bionic which powers Apple’s current generation iPhones. According to the leaked benchmarks, the Exynos 9810 Galaxy S9 with model number SM-G960F scores 3648 and 8894 in single-core as well as multi-core tests respectively. This is way more lesser to the Snapdragon 845 benchmark score of 2378 and 8132 which was leaked earlier.

Which means the Chinese and US consumers will get the inferior variant of the Galaxy S9. Because, those are the only two regions where Samsung sells their Snapdragon powered flagships. Anyways, this was also the case last year with the Galaxy S8 / S8 Plus and Galaxy Note. However, it does not mean that the Snapdragon variant will not perform well because at the end of the day benchmarks are always benchmarks, just a number.

Samsung will be unveiling their Galaxy S9 duo at their Unpacked event on February 25th. Until then, drop your opinions in the comment section below.
