In case you folks don’t know Mozilla has earlier released its FireFox OS which due to improper development has failed. At the beginning of the year 2017 Mozilla has declared the OS obsolete and since then the source code of this project is available. A lot of other brands has used it to develop several things and now a big headline is there. Later KaiOS came into existence which was also based on the same, however, as per latest details Google has invested a big sum in this project, so let’s know more about it.
KaiOS is available for a long now and even Google has developed a sequence of applications for the platform. The operating system is used in a few phones now and one thing you should keep in check is that it is only being used in budget-centric devices. As per latest information, Google has invested an amount of $22 Million in KaiOS. It looks like Google is cooking something new in their kitchen and we might witness it soon in the upcoming days.
