Google Play Store have 600,000 Apps and 20 Billion Downloads

Google shared Google Play Store data also at Google IO 2012. According to Google there are currently 600,000 apps in the Google Play Store and 20 Million times apps has been downloaded. Averaged 1.5 billion downloads or installs per month.

Google Play now offers what it calls “Smart App Updates,” which will let developers provide incremental updates to apps instead of forcing people to download a new APK everytime.

Earlier Google unveiled Jelly bean And also stated that Android passed 400 million activations.
