HTC today announced its own media certification program which will enable to to wirelessly connect to big screen TV or play games on a bigger display or to other compatible electronics that can stream music. Apple’s Airplay also performs similar functions but now there’s HTC Connect also in the competition. With HTC Connect’s launch Pioneer partnered with HTC to bringing HTC Connect certified devices to market in 2012. HTC also confirmed that HTC One series phone will also get this technology and will be provided via update in coming months.
