htc deployed new marketing chief

To help to bounce back from losses that HTC is suffering from, today HTC hires a new Marketing Chief, Benjamin Ho. He will take place of current chief John Wang along with CEO Peter Chou.

Benjamin Ho is the former vice president of business strategy and marketing at Taiwanese network FarEasTone and former chief marketing officer of Motorola.

Peter Chou said in a statement:

“We welcome Benjamin to HTC and look forward to integrating the global marketing capabilities he brings to the company. Our growing brand, centered around our world-class innovation and design capabilities, will provide a global platform not just for HTC, but for Taiwan culture and innovation.”

HTC said that Mr. Ho’s first project at the company will be dubbed “Marketing 2.0,” with a goal of “refocusing HTC’s efforts around holistic marketing and mass-market brand outreach.”

Recently HTC also opened retail outlet in Germany.

So hope HTC will be back on track in future with the help of Benjamin Ho efforts. What you think it will help HTC to regain its position in the Market.
