International Galaxy S III Receives Minor OTA Update

Today users of International Galaxy S III gets shocked upon update for their device. The update is of 1MB in size and is labeled as stability improvement patch. It just brings a new baseband version of XXLH to the device. We assume that it will fix some of the issues there might be with the phone’s radio firmware.

Earlier similar update was rolled out on Galaxy S III  US version which lead to  to cripple the Search feature of the phone but later Samsung confirmed their mistake and rolled back the search with new update. If you haven’t recieved it yet than try manually pulling it by going to your phone’s Settings > About device > Software updates.

In case you have received the new update, let us know whether it fixes the “battery drain issue” ?
