HMD Global starts rolling out Android Security patch for the month of December on its Nokia 8. The update doesn’t contain any major feature other than the December security patch.
December security patch brings a sloppy 66 fixes that Google released for the Android operating system. The update weighs around 87 MB in size. The changelog of update is not contain any other feature than security patch. It is currently rolling out in patches, so it might take some time to reach each and every user.
Although the size of update is very small, but still use wifi for downloading the update. You should charge your phone at least up to 50%. As it is an OTA update, it might take couple of days time to reach everyone. So don’t panic it the notification doesn’t appear. You can always check it manually by going through the Settings>>About Phone>>Software Update.
