Redmi Note 12 series spotted on TENAA, confirms 5G dual-standby

Xiaomi is nearing the launch of the Redmi Note 12 series in China, as the smartphone surfaces on TENAA bearing two different model numbers 22041216C and 22041216UC. Both the smartphones were spotted on the MIIT China listing a few weeks ago. These model numbers are said to be the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus.

The listing confirms minuscule details about the devices i.e 5G dual-standby compatibility. It afforms the nearing launch of the upcoming Redmi Note 12 series in China. It even confirms the presence of a 4980 mAh battery on the Redmi Note 12 and 4300mAh on the Redmi Note 12+. However, both run Android 12, which measures 163.64×74.29×8.8mm and sport a 6.6-inch display.

Previous leaks confirm the presence of Dimensity 8000/8100 SoCs. There’s even talk about the launch of the Redmi Note 12 series under the Poco brand in India and some other regions. Supposedly, Xiaomiui expects the 22041216C device to reveal as Poco X4 GT and the 22041216UI could come with the same name as Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus.

it is expected to launch this quarter and the next generation later this year. Apart from leaks and rumors, it is highly expected that the company would come with fast charging speeds to match the previous generation specifications or can even surpass the 120W fast charging barrier present on Redmi Note 11Pro+.
