Report: LG Aims To Sell 100,000 Units G Pad per month

A report in The Korea Herald has confirmed some of the specifications of LG G Pad that we had heard earlier this week. The site notes that LG G Pad will come with 8.3-inch full HD display, Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM. LG didn’t have a good run and history with Tablets, with previous tablets being already in the kitty of “Fail”.

According to The Korea Herald, the company plans to manufacture 500 prototypes of the tablet in September. However there is no hearsay, when is the actual manufacturing going to take off. Earlier reports indicated that LG would unveil their tablet at September’s IFA FAIR Event. But taking The Korea Herald news in mind, it can be said we would get the glimpse of the tablet later this year.

The report further states that LG aims to sell 100,000 units of LG G Pad, which is a very modest target and should not be very hard to achieve.

“For LG, the G Pad is the culmination of its so-called “G Project,” through which the tech company hopes to regain its fame and reputation as one of the strongest electronics makers in the world,” The Korea Herald adds.
