Samsung Denied Allegations Of Underage Workers At Its Supplier’s Factory

Today Samsung has denied allegations of under age workers working their suppliers, HTNS ‘s Factory by China Labor rights group. In a statement Samsung says that “We have confirmed that there are no underage workers employed” at HTNS Shenzhen, the Suwon, South Korea-based company said in an e-mailed statement today. “Samsung holds itself and its supplier companies to the highest standards and maintains a zero tolerance policy on child labor.”

After it Labor Right Group says that there was definitely three underage girls working for HTNS Shenzhen. The organization says that the trio were 1 or 2 years under the legal working age of 16 despite holding falsified IDs that showed all of them to be older than 16.
