Samsung unveils Galaxy A70, comes with 25W fast charging

Samsung is flooding the market with its new range of Galaxy A smartphones. The South-Korean company has earlier revealed its plan of launching dozen of Galaxy A devices in this year. As a part of the venture, so far, a couple of new handsets were released including Galaxy A30, A50 and so on. Samsung hasn’t done with it yet. Today, Samsung has unveiled yet another promising device, the Galaxy A70.

The Galaxy A70 borrows the similar footprint that we’ve seen on the recently launched Galaxy A device. It has a massive display with a tiny notch over the forehead, which Samsung calls as Infinity-U display. One of the features which set Galaxy A70 apart from the other Galaxy device is its Super-Fast charging capability. The device supports 25W fast charging, which we could see on the upcoming Galaxy S10 5G as well.

Samsung Galaxy A70 Specifications

Featuring a 6.7” Infinity-U display, the Galaxy A70 bags the biggest screen in the Galaxy A portfolio to date. It’s of 20:9 aspect ratio, which means it delivers an immersive viewing experience, especially while watching movies shot at 21:9 ratio. On top of that provides optimal grip and easy on hands.

Most importantly, the Galaxy A70 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 (11nm) Mobile Platform clocked at 2.0GHz. The Galaxy A70 runs Samsung’s One UI 1.1 platform based on the latest Android Pie 9.0. For those who unaware, the OneUI 1.1, when compared to the OneUI 1.0, brings Samsung’s version of Digital Well-Being and Bixby Voice support w/o the need of dedicated Bixby key. Keeping the lights on of the device is a whopping a 4500mAH battery. The massive battery along with Super-Fast charging, the Galaxy A70 should never let you down in heavy usages.

Available in four distinctive colors including Coral – this year’s on-trend color, Blue, Black and White, the Galaxy A70 features a stylish prism effect that reveals stunning gradient colors depending on light direction and reflections.

The Galaxy A70’s enhanced triple camera comes with a 32MP super high-resolution front and rear lens. Combined with the 8MP Ultra Wide Lens at the rear, it lets you capture amazing stills with the same viewing angle as the human eye.
