Samsung Galaxy J5 2015 Starts receiving May security patch in India

Samsung Galaxy J5 2015 variant is getting an OTA update which includes May’s Android Security Patch in India. The phone recently gets the update since January 2017 with latest Android Security update.

The update comes with the software build number J700FXXU4BQE3. The update weighs around 144 MB in size only brings the May security patch. Which includes 54 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the Android OS as well as fixes for 11 vulnerabilities found in Samsung’s own operating system.

Samsung Galaxy J5 2015 update is rolling out as OTA so it can take some time to reach each and every unit in the country. Meanwhile you can check it by going through the Setting of the phone >> about the phone>>software update.
