[Update: November 2022 Security Patch] Samsung Galaxy M11 Update Tracker

At the end of Q3 2020, Samsung introduced the Galaxy M11 smartphone featuring a 6.4-inch PLS IPS display. The phone offers Android 10 OS out of the box paired with up to 64GB storage and 4GB RAM. Under the hood, it equips an octa-core processor-based Snapdragon 450 chipset. There’s a triple rear camera consisting of a 13MP primary sensor and a single 8MP camera for selfies.

  • [January 02, 2023]:  Galaxy M11 is now receiving the November 2022 security patch update in India. The update has the firmware version M115FXXS4CVL1.
  • [July 8th, 2021]: Samsung is releasing the July 2021 security patch for the Galaxy M11. The latest update arrives on firmware version M115FXXU2BUF3. Presently, the build is unfurling in Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, while it will reach out to more regions in the upcoming week. As expected, this is a minor bump and does not carry any new additions. Also, Samsung is yet to detail its July patch.
  • [May 6, 2021]: Samsung has begun sending the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 Skin update to the Galaxy M11 smartphone users. The build carries the build version M115FXXU2BUD8, which is rolling out in Vietnam. As stated by the changelog, the update brings the April 2021 Security Patch and comes with refreshed UI, new features, and a couple of improvements. For precise details, head here.

As usual, the OTA update is out in a phase-wise manner. You can either wait for a pop-up notification regarding the new build or check it manually. To give it a self-check, head over to the Settings app > Software update and tap on Download and install. Also, we suggest you switch over to a WiFi network before downloading the update to avoid data charges.
