Samsung Galaxy M11 starts getting the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update

Samsung is trying harder to secure a good position in providing software updates. As part of it, the company regularly updates the devices to the latest available versions by rolling out the security and software updates. Today, the company has begun sending the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 Skin update to the Galaxy M11 smartphone users.

The first has been spotted first by SamNext, and it carries the build version M115FXXU2BUD8. At the moment, the latest update is taking place in Vietnamese markets. We expect the update to be released in more countries in the next few days.

What’s new?

As stated by the changelog, the update brings the April 2021 Security Patch and comes with refreshed UI, new features, and a couple of improvements. The Galaxy M11 has skipped the One UI 3.0 update, and it bumped directly from the One UI 2.5 Skin.

The update enhances features like Calls & chats, Home screen & Lock screen, Pictures & videos, Settings, Productivity, Samsung Keyboard, etc. Furthermore, the number of input languages in the Samsung Keyboard is increased to 370. Apart from these, the update also adds a bunch of new features. Nonetheless, you will be able to experience every small change after installing the update.

Note: As it is the initial release, the update will be available only to a few random users. After successful verification, it will reach all the units within a week.

The Galaxy M11 users from Vietnam will receive a notification when an update appears on their device. To manually check the update, head to Settings>Software updates. It is also recommended to maintain atleast 80% of charging before updating the device as it a significant update.
