Sony Xperia XZ3 spotted on GFXBench with QHD+ display and Android P

Sony is all set to unveil their next flagship – the Xperia XZ3, possibly at IFA 2018. The device has already leaked in real life images a few days back. Now, once again it gets leaked via GFXBench benchmark listings. The strange thing to notice here is it runs on Android 9.0 P (maybe Android P beta).

According to the GFXBench listing, the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ3 will bear the model number H8416. It will sport a 5.9 inches QHD+ (2,880 x 1,440 pixels) display at the front. Which means Xperia XZ3 will be the first smartphone from Sony to feature this panel. Under the hood, it will be powers with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor like any other flagship smartphone this year. As for storage, it will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

In the camera department, it will feature a 19MP primary snapper. Based on the previous live images leak, it will come with dual camera setup. But, the secondary sensor is not listed here like most of the phones with dual cameras. As for the front, the phone will sport a 13MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

What are your thoughts on Sony’s upcoming flagship? Do you think it has a chance to stand against the likes of Galaxy S9 duo, LG G7 ThinQ, HTC U12+ and the cheaper OnePlus 6? Let us know in the comment section below.
