Stable ColorOS 12 update released for Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G

It seems that Oppo has successfully tested its Android 12-based ColorOS 12 customized skin. The company is fulfilling its promise and is deploying the new operating system as per the December 2021 roadmap. After the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G series, the predecessor is eligible to get the stable package, in selected regions though.

At the time of writing, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G smartphone units in Saudi Arabia are receiving the ColorOS 12 stable update. As always, the software is currently rolling out in batch and is available for limited users as of now. Fortunately, you can submit your application in order to be a first batch member.

If you are a ColorOS 12 beta tester, the software will reach out to you directly as an OTA. There is no need to click on early adopters to apply. Before flashing the stable Android 12 x ColorOS 12 package, make sure that your device runs on build number A.25. Thereafter, you can identify the new update via C.42 version.
